The new Business Development and Marketing department has been busy last quarter having exhibited and attended several local business shows.
In April, SCT Mobile and our sister company, Ian Bannings sponsored and attended the local Grow your Business show at Guildford’s Spectrum Centre. This was the first exhibition we had attended since our corporate re-branding in March. The new branding proved very popular with new and existing clients who attended the show. The show proved to be a big success, creating
a large number of new business leads.
On the success of this show we also exhibited at the Surrey Business Expo in June. The show, hosted at the Camberley Theatre, gave us the opportunity to widen our presence in the local area. Again the show proved to be very successful.
With the SCT Mobile staff we were also joined by representatives from our Business partners; Vodafone, BlackBerry (RIM) and Cybit vehicle tracking specialists.

Cranleigh Show - 3.8.08
After a successful show last year SCT Mobile and our sister company, Ian Bannings, attended this years show. The show was sponsored by HTC and BlackBerry, both provided a range of freebies and technical information to offer to visitors to our stand. Both SCT Mobile and Ian Bannings had very successful promoting the companies and obtaining several positive orders and leads.

As of 29th July, SCT is proud to be a member of the HTC Premier Partner Group. In conjunction with Brightpoint UK, HTC UK distributors, HTC have created an exclusive Partner programme offering its members and in turn their clients, direct access to all the latest news, offers and advanced support directly from HTC. This puts us in an excellent position for providing a more complete mobile email solution based on the HTC Windows Mobile platform.
VIP trip to Ladies Day at Royal Ascot - 19.6.08
As mentioned in our newsletter in March, SCT Mobile took 15 of it’s clients on a VIP trip to Royal Ascot. Being picked up from Guildford train station by a stretched hummer chauffeur driven limousine holding all 20 of the group, for champagne and luxury travel to the course, started the day off in style. With great views, champagne reception in a luxury private restaurant serving a four course lunch, afternoon tea and complimentary champagne and drinks, a great day was had by all.
